About this page
Prepared fictional example. Northstar, Alex, Priya, Sam and Jordan are invented for this course. These notes, drafts and proposals are authored teaching material, not output from an observed agent run. Nothing has been sent or scheduled.
This is the text of the Northstar follow-through page shown in Section 1. The same page, with its four tabs, is in the starter zip as practice/meeting-follow-through.html.

Tab 01
Meeting notes
The client progress review is Monday, October 5, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. Asia/Kolkata. Alex leads the project, Priya leads delivery, Sam coordinates onboarding, and Jordan is the client contact.
Ready and agreed
- The welcome guide is ready except for the agreed change from “account coordinator” to “client coordinator.” Sam will make the change and send it to Priya by 4 p.m. Friday, October 2. Priya will return corrections by 10 a.m. Monday, October 5.
- Tuesday, October 6 remains the planned account-setup start. The client role list is needed before the team can request the right access approvals. Jordan intends to send it by 3 p.m. Friday, subject to confirmation by the operations manager.
- The first working session is planned for Thursday, October 8. Jordan can join at 2 p.m. A support specialist is available from 2 to 3 p.m.; full-session coverage is not yet confirmed. The operations manager's attendance is also unconfirmed.
Decisions and waiting items
Alex decided to retain Tuesday as the planned start while waiting for the role list. If the list arrives late, Alex will decide whether to move the date or continue with work that does not require access.
Priya will confirm full support coverage by 1 p.m. Monday. Jordan will confirm the operations manager's availability by 3 p.m. Monday. Both deadlines follow the 11 a.m. review, so final Thursday attendance may remain unresolved during that review. Alex will decide whether to retain general onboarding or move the access discussion if either person cannot attend.
Alex's additional intent is to hear current blockers and decisions needed from Alex before the review. That request comes from the leader-context file. It does not move the agreed attendance-confirmation deadlines earlier.

Follow-up drafts
Every message stays a draft for Alex to review. Alex decides when to send it.
Subject: Northstar guide wording and review Hi Sam, Please change “account coordinator” to “client coordinator” in the welcome guide, as agreed with Jordan, and send the updated guide to Priya by 4 p.m. today, Friday, October 2. Priya will return any corrections by 10 a.m. Monday so we can share the final guide in the 11 a.m. client review. Before Monday's review, please let me know if anything is blocking the guide and whether you need a decision from me, so I can prepare to address it with the client. Thanks, Alex
Subject: Northstar guide check and Monday review Hi Priya, Sam is updating the guide to use “client coordinator” and will send it to you by 4 p.m. today. Please return any corrections by 10 a.m. Monday, October 5, ahead of the 11 a.m. client review. Before that review, please send me your current blocker and any decision you need from me, so I can prepare to address the issue with the client. Tuesday remains our planned setup start; we'll request the right approvals when Jordan's confirmed role list arrives. Please also confirm full support coverage for Thursday's working session by 1 p.m. Monday, as agreed. We can distinguish what we know at the review from what is still awaiting confirmation. Thanks, Alex
Subject: Northstar role list and next week's sessions Hi Jordan, Thank you for clarifying that the guide should say “client coordinator.” Sam is making that change. Please send the role list by 3 p.m. today, Friday, October 2, once your operations manager has confirmed who needs each level of access. We need the list to request the correct approvals for Tuesday's planned start. If confirmation is delayed, please let me know what remains open and whether you need a decision from us, so we can address the issue before Monday's 11 a.m. review. Please also confirm your operations manager's availability for the Thursday, October 8 working session by 3 p.m. Monday, as agreed. We know you can join at 2 p.m.; we'll settle the session format once both teams' availability is clear. Thanks, Alex

One exact personal reminder proposal
- Calendar: Leadership Course Demo
- Title: Course demo: review client progress follow-up
- Monday, October 5, 2026, 10:00 to 10:15 a.m. Asia/Kolkata
- Private, no attendees
- Purpose: Read current blockers and decisions needed before the 11 a.m. client review. Keep unresolved Thursday attendance separate from confirmed facts.
- State: Proposed only. The source context does not authorize a calendar write.
In actual use, review the precise proposal, explicitly approve the desired action, then inspect the saved destination entry and compare its calendar, title and time with your approval. A creation message alone does not establish that the correct entry exists.
Tab 04
Preference worth keeping
When preparing a follow-up, make clear what the recipient needs to do and why the response matters. Use the supplied context, and ask when the purpose is missing. A clear action and reason help the recipient understand what response will be useful.
Meeting fact to keep separately: Northstar's client review is Monday, October 5, at 11 a.m. Asia/Kolkata.
The preference can guide another follow-up; the date belongs to this project record. A saved preference still needs to be available to the agent that will use it.
