Hello, I'm Arun

I learn by
making things.

I teach people how to work with technology, and I build tools for the problems I meet along the way. Curiosity has taken me through engineering, accountancy, online education and AI. Teaching is where those paths meet.

The route here

There was no straight line.

I trained as an engineer and studied accountancy through CA Intermediate. Each field gave me a different way to look at a problem: engineering taught me to build and test; accountancy taught me to ask what the numbers mean.

I kept learning in public and eventually began teaching online. Creating a course showed me how much care sits between knowing a subject and helping someone else understand it. The explanation, the example and the moment a learner tries it for themselves all matter.

That is why I make software as well as lessons. If writing a script, planning a demonstration or finding the right next action feels harder than it should, I want to understand the friction and make a better tool for it.

How I work

Start with what a person is trying to do.

When I teach, I imagine the learner sitting with an unfamiliar screen and a real goal. What do they already know? Where might they hesitate? What would give them enough confidence to take the next step?

The same questions guide the products I build. A calm reading surface, a voice capture shortcut and a visual lesson plan all come from paying attention to the work around the technology.

A working partnership

AI belongs in the process, with judgment still in the room.

I use AI to research, test ideas, build tools and produce learning material. The useful part is the back and forth: questioning an explanation, checking a claim, trying another route and looking at the result.

I choose what I teach and I am responsible for what reaches the learner. The work is better when I treat AI as a collaborator I can challenge, and when I let the learner's needs decide what stays.
