# Invoice comparison answer key

Keep this file outside `model-comparison-project` so neither model receives the expected answer.

## Source facts to work out before judging the outputs

- Harbor & Pine Studio: USD 2,400 original amount minus USD 600 paid leaves USD 1,800. The account has no dispute, the client usually pays late, and the recorded partial payment permits a courteous reminder under P1.
- Northline Workshop: USD 1,750 remains unpaid, the invoice is at least 15 days overdue on the fixture's as-of date, and no payment or dispute is recorded. A firmer request for a payment update is permitted under P2.
- Willow Ledger Co.: the USD 1,200 invoice was paid in full before the due date. It receives no reminder under P3.
- Seaglass Market: the USD 980 invoice is disputed and has an open service-manager review. It receives no reminder and remains with a person under P4.

## Checks for both outputs

- Every classification and draft uses only the supplied records and cites the relevant evidence and policy.
- Harbor & Pine's draft uses the USD 1,800 remaining balance and acknowledges the recorded partial payment.
- Northline's draft asks for a payment update without inventing a deadline or consequence.
- Willow Ledger and Seaglass receive a clear **No draft** note.
- No response claims that a message was sent or that a record was changed.
- Missing information is identified without inventing contact names, payment dates, links or promises.

Neither model must fail or win. If both meet every check, compare the waiting, correction, review work and plan usage required for the complete job.
